Fort Mill Elks
Annual Golf Outing
The Fort Mill Elks are dedicated to helping our communities - Fort Mill, Tega Cay, and Indian Land. This golf outing is a major fundraiser to help us continue the good work we do. Scroll down the page for a brief list of how your participation in this golf outing can help us help the community.
The money raised by the Fort Mill Elks Golf Outing helps us to do many things in the community. Some activities include:
Foundation for Fort Mill Schools – We work closely with their Classroom Ready program to help youth in our area get a good education by providing school supplies.
Tega Cay Fire Department – We bought a water rescue craft for them to assist in water rescue in the area lakes. We bought smoke detectors to be distributed and installed in homes that need them (lower income, elderly).
Fort Mill Fire Department – We work with them on their Open House and their fire safety education programs.
Fort Mill Police Department and York County Sheriff Department – We work with them at their annual Night Out Safety programs for kids.
Fort Mill Police Department – We donated a McGruff the Crime Dog costume to their youth liaison to help with their youth programs.
Fort Mill Recreation Program – We sponsor a youth sports league every year.
York County Council on Aging – We donate to their Meals on Wheels program.
D.A.R.E. – We have a Drug Awareness trailer that we bring to local events to help educate youths and their families about why it's important to stay off drugs.
Fort Mill Care Center – They provide services for Fort Mill residents in need. We have donated to their Food Pantry. We regularly help out with the spring cleaning of their facilities as well.
